HHS, Head Mistress receives DFID Global School Partnership Reciprocal Visit Grant, from the British Council.

Mrs. Mainaz Iqbal, Headmistress, Arts & Science Academy, the Clifton branch of Happy Home School, Karachi, is the recipient of a DFID Global School Partnership Reciprocal Visit Grant, from the British Council. She is currently on a five day visit to the Stoke Ash Community School in Suffolk, UK where she will be giving a presentation on Pakistan, evaluate and review the partnership with her counterpart and plan future activities.

The partnership between the two schools was established two years back. Both the schools have been working together to help establish understanding between other cultures and beliefs. They have also been working on the issue of global citizenship and sustainable development. Activities undertaken by both the schools can be viewed at the school’s website: www.asa.edu.pk
