HHS students win Obhartay Sitaray 2015 Singing Competition

On October 10, 2015 Syed Ghazi, Class X, HH O Level Campus won the 1st prize in the Winning Voice Senior Category Ghazal Genre and Paras Faheem, Class VIII, Gulshan Campus topped in the Milli Nagma Category in the Obhartay Sitaray 2015 singing competition which was held at the Marriot Hotel by The Citizen’s Foundation. Ayesha Baig, Class X, Society Campus was one of the few runner ups who made it to the grand finale.

This singing contest is part of the inter-school fundraising drive for the underprivileged school. A total of  65,000 students from 120 schools participated this year. The students were sub-divided into primary, secondary, senior-level and college categories according to their ages. A total of 550 students in 250 teams participated in the school-level round, out of which 48 singers in 16 teams participated in the team’s final round, which was judged by Khalid Anam, Zoe Vicajji and other celebrity panelists.
