This year also the International School Library Month was celebrated at Happy Home School with much interest and enthusiasm as it is done by the international body known as the International Association of School Librarianship (IASL). This organization has selected October as the month in which the international community celebrates the International School Library Month (ISLM).

Various activities were organized at the school including the following:
Happy Home School Storytelling Competition in Urdu and English was organized on November 4, 2015. Sixteen schools of Karachi participated in the Interschool Storytelling Competition.
Let me tell you a story: Mothers of Primary Section showed keen interest in this activity. They came to tell the stories during the library periods.

At Happy Home School two Literary Figures are celebrated every year. This year they were Rudyard Kipling (English) and Nazeer Akber Aabadi (Urdu). Throughout the year students read extracts their work and came to know about the authors life history. An exposition of their work was presented in our Library.

Various kinds of other activities were held during the library periods: Fun with New Words for Grade II, Odd One out – Thinking Skill for Grade III. Vocabulary Game for Grade IV, Dictionary Game for Grade V, Jungle Book (Activity) for Grade VI-VII, How to write a Book Review for Grade VII- VIII .
