Mrs. Ghazala Nizami is associated with the Education field for almost 50 years and is the Chief Executive of Happy Home School since 2016.
Mrs. Nizami is a Second Position holder in Master in Education, University of Karachi and was on the Dean’s List Recognition at the University of Toledo, Ohio where she fulfilled course requirements in General School Supervision. Personnel Management in Education and Elementary School Principalship. Mrs. Nizami also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Institute of Education,University of London.
Mrs. Nizami began her career from teaching at St. Joseph’s Convent School in 1972 but being the daughter of the founder of Happy Home School, Mrs. Maryam Faruqi, she was groomed to take up responsibility. She joined Happy Home School, first as a teacher in 1973 and gradually rose in status, as have some other staff members.
She is a staunch supporter and enforcer of the holistic education model at HHS which emphasizes that while it is important to acquire theoretical knowledge, it is equally important to be equipped with problem-solving skills and hands-on experiences. She has also developed a very successful reading programme, CLOVER, which aims to instill the love of reading. This is a mandatory 20 minute reading period at the start of the day and as per the parents has, “ improved vocabulary, provided fluency in speaking and writing and created the desire to read.”
She takes immense pleasure in knowing that HHS alumni are performingbrilliantly and are serving the nation and humanity, globally.
